About the Neighborhood

Gladiola and Howell sit in Sunny Crest Hills, a quiet, established neighborhood in Arvada's 80002 zip code. Built out mostly in the late 1970s, it's known for larger lots, mature landscaping, and a real sense of privacy, the kind of neighborhood where a whole-block garage sale actually makes sense.

A few things that make this pocket of Arvada special:

  • Room to spread out. Lots here commonly run around 0.4 acres, giving homes extra yard space, room for RVs, boats, or a detached garage, and enough distance between neighbors to still feel private.
  • The up-and-coming Applewood area is close by too, where things are changing fast, a new Life Time has already opened, and new shopping centers are being developed, adding even more shopping, dining, and amenities within easy reach.
  • Downtown Golden and Lutheran Hospital are close by too, along with easy access to I-70 and the light rail, so getting into Denver or up toward the mountains is simple.
  • Van Bibber Park is right there. A short walk gets you to open space and trails, a nice perk for morning walks or an afternoon outside.
  • A neighborhood that still feels like one. Mature trees, established homes, and events like this garage sale are part of what keeps Sunny Crest Hills feeling connected.

If you've been thinking about buying or selling in this part of Arvada, or you're just curious what your home might be worth in today's market, we'd love to help.
